Herts schools rebuilding programme How much could the schools receive in donations? We expect most purchasers of this advertising space for the school rebuilding programme to buy 10 squares (£5,000), 100 squares (£50,000) and even 200 squares (£100,000) but single square purchases (£500) are possible. We have a highly motivated and energised team and we want to sell the advertising space and make that advertising work hard for the advertisers. The grid overlaying the original picture of each school will be 960 x 800 pixels – to make it fit into most users web-browsers - and it will be divided into 8x8 pixel squares. There are 12,000 squares over the entire picture giving 120 of the £50,000 adverts on the page. The companies do not necessarily consider this a donation – we provide a good advertising service that they buy – but it will help to have such a worthy cause. For each appeal this has the potential to raise £6m per page in advertising revenue, of which 50% (£3m) will be donated directly to the school rebuilding programme. The remainder is retained by Nightingale Services Ltd to cover our management and running costs, sales, marketing, PR, web design, IT and technical support, plus the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) for the web site and each of the advertisers. The system could be run for 5 years or more to provide enough money for all the schools or could be run in multiple simultaneous appeals for some the schools over a shorter period of time. |
